- Possessive 's
The possessive 's or saxon genitive is used to express possession or the relationship among relatives. It's extemely important to realize that the saxon genitive is used for people, animals, countries or time expressions. Never use that for things, in that case you should use the preposition of, and do no change the order in the sentence. (El posesivo 's o genitivo sajón se utiliza para expresar posesión o relación de parentesco. Es muy importante darse cuenta de que el genitivo sajón se utiliza para personas, animales, países y expresiones de tiempo. No lo utilicéis nunca para cosas, es ese caso deberías usar la preposición of, y no cambiéis el orden en la frase).
- Irregular plurals: Remember that there are irregular plurals which do not follow the general rules. You must learn them by heart. (Recordad que hay plurales irregulares que no sigen las reglas generales. Debéis aprenderlos de memoria).
