GRAMMAR

• Present Simple

This power point presentation will help you to remember the structure of the Present simple tense. Just remember that the Present Simple tense is used for daily activities, that is routine, for events and for general truths. • Possessive 's

The possessive 's or saxon genitive is used to express possession or the relationship among relatives. It's extemely important to realize that the saxon genitive is used for people, animals, countries or time expressions. Never use that for things, in that case you should use the preposition of, and do no change the order in the sentence. (El posesivo 's  o genitivo sajón se utiliza para expresar posesión o relación de parentesco. Es muy importante darse cuenta de que el genitivo sajón se utiliza para personas, animales, países y expresiones de tiempo. No lo utilicéis nunca para cosas, es ese caso deberías usar la preposición of, y no cambiéis el orden en la frase).

• Irregular plurals: Remember that there are irregular plurals which do not follow the general rules. You must learn them by heart. (Recordad que hay plurales irregulares que no sigen las reglas generales. Debéis aprenderlos de memoria).

GRAMMAR

• Subject Pronouns. This power point will help you to understand and practise pronouns when they function as Subject ones. (Este power point os ayudará a comprender y practicar los pronombres cuando éstos funcionan como sujeto).

• Verb To Be. This is a very important verb. See how English works: affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences. ( Éste verbo es muy importante, ved como funciona el ingl és: frases afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas)

• Demonstratives. Just 4 words for our 15 words in Spanish. (Sólamente 4 palabras, cuando en español tenemos 15)

      

• Articles. The best way to understand articles is to practise doing quizzes. (La mejor forma para entender los artículos es practicar haciendo tests).

• a, an, the. More articles to practise. (Más articulos para practicar).

• Imperatives are used in English for different intentions: giving orders, advice, instructions. See they are very easy to use. (Los imperativos se usan en inglés para distintas razones: dar órdenes, consejo, instrucciones. Mirad que sencillos son de utilizar).
