UNIT 3: third clue my dear watson...

GRAMMAR

Adjectives are almost always placed before the noun. the following power point is an exposition of adjectives for descriptions. (Los adjetivos se colocan casi siempre antes del nombre, el power point a continuación expone los adjetivos para las decripciones).

Telling the time is quite tricky in English, if we learn it for the first time.



We'd better know how it works when we ask or tell the time and practice with different clocks. (Decir la hora es un poco enrevesado si lo aprendemos por primera vez. Es mejor que sepamos como se dice o se pregunta la hora y practicar con distintos relojes).

Adverbs of frequency are an important part of the use of the Present Simple Tense when talking about daily routine. They are usually placed between the subject and the verb, except for modal verbs which would follow them. (Los adverbios de frecuencia son una parte importante en el uso del presente simple cuando hablamos de la rutina diaria. Normalmente se sitúan entre el sujeto y el verbo, excepto para los verbos modales, que irían detrás).

Prepositions of time are used quite often in every day language. We'd better know which preposition use at each time. (Las preposiciones se utilizan a menudo con el lenguaje del día a día. Sería mejor saber que preposición de debe utilizar cada vez).

Daily routine is something we talk about with the present simple tense, that is why it is important to know vocabulary related to daily routine. (La rutina diaria es algo de lo que hablamos cuando utilizamos el presente simple, es por eso que es importante conocer el vocabulario relacionado con la rutina diaria).
